The 2s have been on a fantastic run of form, with 4 wins from their last 5 games each of these wins with a 50+ scoreline. Their last loss was a close fought battle against Caldy where they just came up short but pushed the unbeaten side, in the last 6 years, Caldy to the wire.

This form has seen a few lads knocking on the door for places in the 1s which is a great sign of the depth and talent within the squad. It’s exciting to see how well the team has come together and they are clearly building momentum as the back half of the season progresses. With the 2s performing so well it is only a matter of time before some of these players get their chance in the 1st team. The competition for spots must be fierce!

This weekends fixture at Caldy is an early 12.30pm kick off and the lads are fortunate to have earned a well deserved bus ride out. A massive thank you to the generous members of the club who have funded this for the team. It really means a lot to have that support behind them and a huge boost. They’ll all be giving it their all out there knowing the club is right behind them.
