While our 5th teams lost their game against top of their division South Shore 2nds, the improvement shown going from a 5-0 defeat in their last meeting to a nail biting 2-3 result that went down to the wire, proves that they will soon to be first in their division once more.

Massive shout out to the Hoppers 2nds who became the first team to beat Lancaster University 1sts this season, taking 3-2 games. Brilliant work guys and shout out 2nds Dan for some stellar grit and stamina to get through his last game without collapsing.

I’ve never seen 2 players both agree to take an impromptu break during a match… maybe its something we can start doing during training going forward!!!

Our 1sts managed another convincing 5-0 against Capitol Squash as did our 4ths against Blackburn 2nds. Our 3rds unfortunately lost to YMCA Thornton but their determination and heart were on full display, only just losing a narrow 2-3.

3-1-5 1 and 2 South Shore 1 and YMCA Thornton 2 are in line for next weeks games so lets continue the wins and improvement for what’s been a spectacular start to 2025.
