Hoppers came up against some top competition last week. Our 2nds and 1sts had to face the some of the top ranking teams in their divisions, making for some matchups of epic proportions.

2nds unfortunately lost against St Annes 1sts, but it was certainly not a shutout, losing only 3-2 all with games that each went down to the wire.

1sts also had a tough night but gave their strongest performance to date against the second in their division, Southport and Birkdale 1sts, with a 3-2 performance, a marked improvement over the 5-0 result last time they met, so another great performance guys.

Our 5ths and 3rds however found some silver lining, going from their losses last week’s loss to 5ths beating South Shore 3rds 4-1 and 3rds beating David Lloyd Chorley 2nds 4-1 as well. Goes to show our players and club are coming along very well in terms of skill and performance.

This Thursday it’s a full house with all our teams in action.
