Well, with the end of the season fast approaching, everyone seems to be determined to finish strong…because every single one of our teams won their games this week!!!

It’s our first clean sweep of 2025 so well done to everyone. Our 5ths won against YMCA Thornton 4ths, the 4ths won against Lancaster University 2nds and the 3rds won against South Shore 1sts, getting the best score of the night, a clean 5-0 win. The 2nds also won against YMCA Thornton 1sts, who were the place above them in their divisions table, which was very impressive.

1sts win against Cheetham Hill 2nds was also fantastic, considering they have some of the highest rated players in the league, something Nige found out first hand when he found himself pitted against a one of the best ranked juniors in the whole country, so well done to the team for getting the win.

These were some hard fought games against stiff competition, so I hope everyone is proud of themselves. Our teams are all back in action once again this week against Lancaster, Wigan and Leyland.

Its just 2 weeks before our 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams finish for the season so let’s keep this momentum going and get with another clean sweep this week!!!
