That’s right, a hat trick of clean sweeps to close out the season for our 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams. These were some of the best performances of the season and even better, all teams winning with a 5-0 result.

All these teams have finished in the top 5 of their table with the 2nds finishing in podium position at 3rd with the 3rds close behind at 5th in their shared division. The 1sts finished 4th in their division, with each team beating out fierce rivals to place incredibly highly.

On behalf of Preston Grasshoppers Squash Club, we want to give a huge thank you to each and every player who volunteered to play in these teams for the 2024- 2025 Winter league. Your efforts have given us some of the best results Hoppers Squash has ever seen so very well done.

Unfortunately, this means that our 1sts, 2nds and 3rds are now finished for the season.
But do not worry as the season isn’t over yet. Both our 4th and 5th teams will be playing into late April and Early May, so you’ll still have lots of Squash to get stuck into.

This week our remaining teams face Blackpool Northern 2nds and South Shore 2nds,
so good luck guys.

For now though, thank you again to all our 1st, 2nd and 3rd team players and we look forward to seeing you in Summer League and Winter League 25/26.
