Its week 3 in the Squash 24-25 season and Hoppers Squash Club has set quite the pace. Our 4th and 5th teams were victorious home and away against Lancaster 3-1-5 Squash club, with 5th team continuing their winning streak and are currently placed at the top of the table in their division, so very well done!

Commiserations to our 2nd and 3rd team however, with 3-2 and 4-1 losses against Lancaster Uni and Thornton YMCA.

Our spirts were once again lifted though with the work from our 1st team, getting a 5 – 0 win over Capitol Squash with 4 out of 5 games being 3 – 0 shut outs.

With our 5ths taking a well-earned break this week, our 1st through 4th teams are in action against teams from Lancaster 3-1-5 and Blackpool South Shore Cricket Club so good luck and get those wins.

Want to see the Squash Club in action? Come down at 18.30 on Thursday 17th October and see our teams on court at home.

Alternatively, pick up a racquet and join us on court every Wednesday at 19.00 and Saturday at 10.30 for a friendly knock. Beginner and advanced players welcome.

If you want to shed a few pounds, come down Tuesdays at 18.30 for fitness and Squash drills.
