Hoppers welcome Otley to Lightoot Green tomorrow afternoon on the back of a superb bonus point victory at Sheffield Tigers last weekend.
Dan Orwin's men snatched the game at the death last week with debutant Sam Freeman going over to seal the win at the end. Otley come in to the game with just 1 in in their last 8 and will be a very dangerous opponent as they look to move up the table and away from the bottom 2. They currently sit in 12th place on 31 points where as Hoppers are 9th on 39 points.
Looking ahead to the game Dan Orwin said "After last week’s positive performance and result, we’ve spoken about the need to ‘back it up’ at home today. We have a good opportunity to do that, if we get our mindset and performance right again. We certainly aren’t happy being 9th in the table, but we need to start showing that we are consistent if we are to push for that top 6 place again."
Milestones
Winger Tyler Spence makes his 150th appearance for Hoppers in the game with Orwin full of praise saying "This is a huge achievement, and Tyler has proved to be a very robust and durable player over the years. His ability to finish in tight situations is second to none, and he has produced many moments of magic for Hoppers over the years."
