In the last two games we have learnt a lot about ourselves as a team, with a few players being played in new positions and the team working hard to gel and develop connections across the squad.
Lancaster had a really good season last year, as did we ourselves, coming back into a league structure, so I feel like this will be a great game of rugby to really judge how both sides are developing, especially for ourselves having fallen short in both opening games. I feel that we are in a much better position to take teams on at this stage of the season compared to last season and use our best assets to take control of games. In training, everyone is pushing each other to improve and challenge for every shirt which creates a great competitive environment.
Above all this, everyone is really bonding well, staying positive and enjoying the journey we are on right now and I am excited at every opportunity the team has to showcase what they can do.
